Ankuran: The Pre-Primary Wing
The pre-primary wing at The Heritage is called Ankuran which includes the pre-nursery, nursery and kindergarten classes.
Teaching at this stage is aimed at making learning fun and so the students are encouraged to learn through play. The philosophy behind Ankuran is “We play as we learn and we learn as we play”.
Trained and qualified teaching staff takes pains to make learning thematic and activity based. The main focus is on building cognitive, social, motor and kinesthetic skills of children.
It is a free and stimulating environment where children’s intellectual, physical, cultural, artistic and communication skills develop and flourish.
Daily Schedule
- At Ankuran, the children of the nursery and kindergarten come at 9.00 a.m.
- Breakfast is served between 10 am and 10.30 a.m.
- Classes which are interspersed with activities, games, clay modeling and library period, go on
till 12.30 p.m.
- The children are served a snack before they board the bus at 12.45 pm.
